ATTENTION: The-Dark-Arts Group is temporarily on hold. Our Lead Administrator has been on extended "vacation". Sorry forn the inconveniance. All submissions to the gallery will be posted once the Admin comes back and all membership requests will be answered. Please be patient as this may take a while to do. Than you.</B.
Greetings... Welcome to The Dark Arts: Dark Artists Group
NEW SUBMISSION RULE: DUE TO REQUESTS FROM GROUP MEMBERS YOU ARE NOW ABLE TO SUBMIT ARTWORK TO THE GALLERY AFTER 3 DAYS INSTEAD OF 7 FROM YOUR PREVIOUS SUBMISSION. ENJOY.
ALSO, ANY IDEAS FOR A CONTEST OR COLLABORATION. I ENCOURAGE THE GROUP TO BE MORE SELF ADMINISTERED AND TO TAKE PART IN THE CREATIVE IDEAS BEHIND GROUP PROJECTS. IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS JUST NOTE THE CLUB.

ABOUT OUR GROUP
THE-DARK-ARTS is a DA club specifically for Dark, Macabre and Dark Surrealist artists.
This club will not be run the same way other clubs have been done in the past here on DA.
There is no system of automatically giving Favorites to all members Works from the clubs side of things.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
To become a member, simple NOTE me with the words : 'Requesting Membership'.
What will happen then is that i shall review your work to see if it basically fits within the categories of either DARK ART, MACABRE or DARK SURREALISM and is of some sort of original quality. If you are chosen then i will note you back saying a WELCOME. Then, it is up to you to put US on your DEWATCH and we will put you on OUR DEVWATCH!
If you don't hear from me, then i'm sorry, i'm going to try and be slightly select. But, in the future, if your work has improved, then just note me again and i'll re-review your work, but please wait at least 1 month BEFORE ASKING for a re-review.

A Reminder: When submitting an image to a contest or collab you Must NOTE us with the link. If you post it in the comments section there is a chance that the Admins will not see it and your work will be left out
